Safe & Pain free Teeth Whitening
There are several ways that a person can safely and pain free whiten their teeth. The first way is to use strawberries with a combination of baking soda. This is because of the malic acid that is in the strawberries. This malic acid has a way of removing stains like wine, coffee, and dark sodas from your teeth. But it is very important that this process is not done over and over again on your teeth. This is because it can begin to remove some of the enamel from your teeth. This can only be left on your teeth for no longer than five minutes.
The second way is with a paste. This paste will be a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. You can also add a little bit of mint toothpaste to the mixture to give it a little bit of flavor. This paste can be used on your teeth whenever you want or need your teeth to look a little bit whiter. But it is very important to remember that you do not need to use this mixture more than once in a week. The paste will need to look a lot like the toothpaste that you use.
The third way is the variety of different whitening rinses and toothpastes. The whitening rinses will have a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in them so it could take up to 12 weeks for a person to see any results. And the whitening toothpaste will only remove the surface stains that are on your teeth. Therefore, most people will not see any difference in their teeth. But if you had your teeth whiten at the dentist, then these things could help to keep them white.
The fourth way is the over the counter kits. These kits can come in the form of whitening strips, trays, or gels. Usually these kits will not work as well because they do not have any hydrogen peroxide in them. Instead, they have carbamide peroxide in them, which does not work as effectively as hydrogen peroxide. It is very important to follow the directions of these over the counter whitening kits. This is because they can make your teeth a lot more sensitive to cold and hots things. A person is going to want to do whatever they can to avoid damaging their teeth.
These are the top 4 ways to whiten your teeth safely.

We included one of our potential clients emails we asnwered, as they asked a relevant question we get asked a lot, about having a darker tooth after having had the root canal procedure & will laser teeth whitening work on it.
It's always good to share the knowledge and hopefully someone else can benefit from this too.
Lauren
"I am very interested in your zoom whitening package on offer and I'm looking to have it done asap however the main question I have is I had to have root canal on one of my front teeth years ago and have since noticed a slight difference in the colour to the rest of my teeth as it is ineffect a dead tooth I was curious as to if this would still pick up from the zoom whitening? If you could let me know of any info on this and If it's worth while booking an appointment to enquire further that would be great, I live in Sutton so I understand you do have somewhere local to me also?"
Sparkly Whites Consultant response: 20.01.12.
To answer your question, firstly it is always difficult to make an assessment without a consultation to visibly assess the condition & colour of your teeth, though i will do my best to explain. When you have root canal the internal structure of the tooth has changed, which can affect the visible colour on the surface of the tooth. To understand why teeth are the colour they are due to a few factors, which hopefully will help you to understand why your tooth now is slightly darker. When light shines on your tooth, there are thousands of porosites on the surface of your enamel, these porosites have tubules (tunnels) running from the surface to the dentin layer of your tooth. Dentin by nature is a yellowish colour, so when the light shines, it actually is reflecting the inner core of your tooth, so if you have very porous teeth, & thin enamel your teeth will always naturally appear to be slightly more yellow hue'd in colour. The thicker your enamel, the your teeth will tend to look whiter, as the light has further to travel back - a slight optical illusion. There are other factors that also change the colour, for instance when we get older our dentin layer can become greyer or blueish tinged - perhaps you have noticed some older people have slightly greyer teeth - this is due to the dentin layer becoming darker. Also if you bump or knock your tooth, trauma can occur, within possibly causing damaging or causing your root to die off, which can change colour, alternatively blood can also get into the inner cavity of the tooth structure during such trauma, causing a darkening of the tooth. Over time this wont disappear. So understanding the above when you have had root canal, either some of the root was still left within your tooth & has turned darker (happens sometimes), also when the inside of your tooth was filled with a composite to replace the cavity left, sometimes the bonding inside your tooth, will cause a darker look, as light will shine through the pores of your tooth and reflect back the composite darker material within your tooth. I don't want to bore you anymore, so basically to answer your question. If you have never whitened your teeth, then you will most certainly see an uplift in colour across all of your teeth including the darker tooth, however the this tooth might always be slightly darker than the rest of your teeth, as the staining is intrinsically deposited. There are a few options, so if you would like to call me 0800 0988 255 or direct anytime on 07874039425 I can talk you through
Kind regards

Is Zoom Teeth Whitening really that good?
When it comes to looking your best, it is essential to have a white, dazzling smile. There are many different whitening options available to you, with Zoom Teeth Whitening being one of them. Of course, you probably want to compare it to other methods of teeth whitening, just to see if it is able to help you out in the same way as other teeth whitening services, as even though its a very well know brand, the word Zoom has almost generic where people autmatically ask for it.
In Reality there are quite a few Laser Teeth Whitening Systems that are identical and deliver the exact same results. Sparkly Whites Laser Teeth Whitening Clinics in London have invested in just such Advanced Laser Whitening Systems. Both Systems will not only help you a achieve a whiter smile, but will make you feel better about yourself and your smile.
When comparing Zoom & Sparkly Whites Laser Teeth Whitening systems to other Laser whitening options, you are always going to walk away with a brighter & whiter smile. There are other brands out there that do offer similar methods for teeth whitening, however not all systems will deliver the same results. The main difference with Zoom is the name brand of Zoom Teeth Whitening. More individuals have heard of the Zoom Teeth Whitening brand, so they are more likely to go with the service & its for this reason why many clninics over charge as they capitalise on the big brand name. This is because individuals generally go with what is most common. Sparkly Whites have invested in one of the most advanced laser whitening systems from the USA however the differences is the price not the final results!

Once everything is in place and your gums are protect with the resin dental dam, the tooth whitening gel is applied onto your teeth to enable the laser to specifically target the coated teeth. The laser activates the teeth whitening gel to release oxygen and oxidise yout stains penetrating deep inside the teeth and removes any stains or discoloration, which is not possible with any other teeth whitening procedure - besides Customs teeth Whitening Trays.
